You have two cows. The government takes them both and sends you off to forced labor camp beyond the Arctic circle, where you die from frostbite, malnutrition and exhaustion (or simply get shot), while the government exports your two cows overseas to show everyone "the abundance of everything in the glorious Stalinist Union" (in reality, to get more money for the two cows and to purchase deficit goods, like a Mercedes car, a Japanese-made TV set, or a trip to the "rotten West" which, ironically, has got more fun attractions than in the 'glorious Union').
